1.4. Output devices

OUTPUT DEVICES - for outputting information from a computer.
Display (monitor) - a device for displaying textual and graphical information, the main part of which is the screen. They are divided into cathode ray tube (CRT), liquid crystal display (LCD) and plasma.

Monitors come in a variety of sizes: 14"(inch), 15", 17", 19", 21", etc.
The amount of colour on the monitor (display):
16-bit - 65,000 colours
24 bit - 16 million colours
32 bit - 4 billion colours
Pixel size. The entire image on the display screen is drawn in pixels. The smaller the pixel size, the better the image quality (standard pixel size is 0.28 mm). If the pixel size is smaller than 0.28 mm, then your display definitely has better image quality.
Audio speakers - a device for reproducing sound.
